Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

This policy explains how Jonathan Snow ("I," "me") handles personal information collected through jonathansnow.com (the "Site"). Questions or requests: jon@jonathansnow.com.

Information I collect

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, or material non-public information.

How I use it

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, I rely on your consent (newsletter), my legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and running the Site, steps you request before entering into a contract, and legal obligations.

Who receives it

I do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I share it with service providers that help run the Site and my communications:

I may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction. The Site links to other services, such as LinkedIn, X, and MentorPass. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Cookies

This Site does not use analytics or advertising cookies of its own, and its fonts are hosted on this Site. If you click Subscribe, the Site loads a signup form from beehiiv. That form may set cookies, for up to about a year, to remember that you subscribed, limit how often the form appears, and attribute signups to a page or campaign. It does not load unless you click. In The Snow at blog.jonathansnow.com is hosted by beehiiv and may use its own analytics and cookies, governed by beehiiv's and that site's policies. Your browser settings can block or clear cookies.

Email choices

You can unsubscribe from In The Snow at any time using the link in any issue.

Retention and security

I keep contact form submissions and newsletter records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations, then delete them when they are no longer needed. I use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your rights

California and other US state residents: I do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses or withdraw consent. To make a request, email me. I may need to verify your identity and will respond within the time the law requires. I will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

International visitors

I am based in the United States, and the Site's service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where laws may differ from those in your country.

Children

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, email me and I will delete it.

Changes

I may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
